The recently added veranda on the West side of the building.
The veranda provides shade on the ground floor.
We have wanted some shade on the West side of the house for such a long time. The afternoon
sun can be very strong and is so much more pleasnant to eat outdoors in the shade.
The veranda has plenty of space. You can set up a table on the ground floor at lunchtime, and in the evening the upstairs verandah makes a wonderful place to watch the sun go down over Roumangoux, the Village on the hill opposite.
